GaryWaldman: GARY WALDMAN is an entertainment industry producer, director, playwright, composer, & performer. His 30+ year career has led him down virtually every path imaginable. He has written the original music, lyrics & libretto for seven professionally produced musicals some of which went on to tour nationally. His directorial credits are numerous and include off-Broadway (2000), regional & touring productions. As a performer, Gary is best known for creating the lead role in the 7yr National tour of PAVED WITH GOLD to rave reviews. He appeared off-Broadway in SOPHIE, TOTIE & BELLE and in countless regional productions. Aside from theatrical credits, he has presented concerts/special events & projects with Vladimir Horowitz, Itzhak Perlman, Sen. Charles Schumer, Ed Koch, Leslie Uggams, Ben Vereen, Joan Rivers, Judy Collins, Steve Allen, Marilyn Michaels, Tovah Feldshuh, Lou Jacobi, Jeanie Tracy, Noa, Theodore Bikel, Mike Burstyn, Bruce Adler; Stephen Sondheim, James Lapine, Paul Gemignani, Cy Coleman & Ira Gasman … and many others. Gary is proud to have produced and managed his dear friend, the legendary singer/actress LAINIE KAZAN from 1994-1996.
